those morning hunts.

tomorrow will be the first morning in days not spent hunting, in woodlands, or mown grass, or hay, for chocolate eggs. these morning hunts have been a wonder for cc of course. racing around with other little folk and finding a treat at the end of it has definitely marked easter out as a good thing to him.
muddled in with chocolate hunts this weekend were family walks, stumbling across a handsome donut truck, and dancing. much dancing. accompanied with contented squeals from little clement.

in cc's words.

cc's pa: what shall we have for dinner? cc: pirate stew with kelp.!

where have all the skunks gone? think they went away to tim-buk-too.

this baths too hot. it hurts my feelings.

to clement when they are holding hands: look we married now. i love you.

there were two owls outside in trees the night i was born. grandpa keith told me that.

dragging a huge stick through the park: this stick will save us from the bad guys. i need this stick cos i have to save clement from lego men bad guys.

whys there no skunks in engerland? why they not like it over there?

aunty amys learning to drive cars? in a car? oh. why not in a tractor?

the little mister is currently always singing. non stop. one tune or another fills the home. todays was: the more we get together, together, together. the more we get together, the happier we be.!

taking a moment.

its a month since anything from our world was documented here.
time has passed quickly and been filled with ups and downs.
many snow storms have come and gone (and come again)
sleepless nights are followed by morning walks for a smooth coffee.
clement frank is on the move. and still so in love with his big brother.
cc has taken to singing even more. and dancing. and is perhaps ever so slightly obsessed with dinosaurs right now.
the boys pa continues to trek to work through all weathers. snapping scenes on his way. working into many nights, making weekend time all the more precious.
mabel is sometimes a little rough around the corners. finding spiderwebs and peeling paintwork. remnants of saturdays toast still dotted around on a tuesday. so an intensive clean up takes place. then two days later its all somehow back again. so, a month has passed. things are alright. the boys are doing wonderfully. and spring is almost here (or so we hear...)
